Acacia is generally quiet and attempts to stay out of other peoples business if at all possible. Her ability as an empath makes it difficult for her to be completely disconnected from people. She hates that she is always in the middle of people's feelings and that, because of this, people who know her often come to her for advice. She hardly knows anything of the world so helping others find their way through it is not on the top of her favorite things list. In fact, her determination to avoid people can make her seem like she is rude and pretentious. In reality she is very sweet, it is just hard to get past her huge wall.
Acacia has empathy. Basically this means that she can sense other people's emotions and even feel them herself. This comes in handy for manipulating peoples emotions and knowing how they are going to react to things. She has often used this to her advantage in the past, charming people into to feeding her or taking he in for the night while she wanders the streets. Unfortunately, she also has come to hate her gift. She doesn't like always being on an emotional roller coaster and this has caused her to always prefer being alone.

Acacia doesn't have much a history to speak of. Her father died when she was very young. In fact, she doesn't remember hardly anything about him. Because she was cute, she never had a hard time finding foster parents. When she was seven, she was put in a home with a father who was a little too friendly with her. This was around the same time that Acacia noticed that she could tell what other people were feeling, especially when those feelings were associated with love or lust. She ran away before anything bad could happen to her and spent the next nine years wandering New York City. She learned to use the abilities she was given to convince people to let her stay with them, feed her, and even in extreme cases, take her in.
Not even two weeks ago, Acacia was wandering through Town Square when she was tripped by someone. She couldn't quite tell but through the sunglasses something told her she needed to run. The hatred for her that radiated off of him was almost material. She turned and sprinted in the other direction. Despite her speed, she could tell the man was right behind her. She couldn't exactly explain what happened next. Things got blurry and there was a bright light and then someone was leaning over her telling her they knew what she was and that they could help. The only reason she even followed him was because she could tell her was being honest. Now she is trying to get used to the idea that not only is she a demi-god, but she is the daughter of Aphrodite. At least, the person who saved her claimed that she was. It's going to be a while before she gets used to this place.
