He's a bold and freedom-loving individual who enjoys pushing the limits and exploring the unknown. He just can't stand having to listen someone BUT on the other hand he likes to give commands and orders although he doesn't really care if that person listens to him or not considering he is just the same. Instead of thinking of strategies or tactics he prefers to improvise and just do it without thinking no matter what consequences his actions may have. Cassius is a risk taker and pretty reckless. He doesn't like to waste time to think of a plan because sometimes you have less than a milisecond to do react before it's too late. There are rarely any occasions where he agrees with someone, no, he usually disagrees with everyone and just has to do what he thinks is right. He's stubborn but he knows it and he knows one day it might get him into trouble but he couldn't care less.
He's strict when it comes to training, practice, fights and war. For him training is one of the most important things in the world. He can't sit still and loves to spend time exercising or training others. It has become part of him a long time ago. When you meet him in the arena he's probably going to be your worst nightmare but when you meet him in the mess hall he can be an easy-going person because there is food. He loves food. He loves it even more than training. Ways how to distract him? Wave with a slice of pizza and he'll come running like a dog - just kidding. But it might work if he's really hungry.
Cas is rather cold hearted and distant by nature and is probably not the most popular guy at camp as he comes off as rude but even he used to be a fun loving and emotional child but sometimes things go very wrong in life that it makes someone change dramatically - that's how it is with Cassius. He used to be a friendly and easy-going person who liked to help others as much as he could until he arrived at the wolf house. Training changed him, knowing he's a demigod and a son of mars did too. His life had such a drastic turn-around and so did his personality. Maybe there will be a day he returns to his old self even if it's just for a moment.
He is easily bored and please don't get (too) offended when he just turns around and leaves without a word. He's not the most sensitive person. In fact expressing feelings or feeling empathy for someone is really really difficult for him. But hey he can be pretty optimistic even though one might think he's more of a pessimist. Losing or dying is never a thought that might cross his mind before or during a fight or crisis. Neither does it bother him to get his hands dirty if the situation calls for it.
Even if you have seen the other children of Mars or Ares you haven't seen the worst of them: Cassius. While he might seem like a jerk on the outside. . .okay, he doesn't seem like one he is one, he secretly worries about others. He's a worry-wart. It's one trait that stuck with him during all this time but he doesn't show it or let's people know. He's always the secret bodyguard, caring about others from a distance.
Because of one event he started having trust issues. He doesn't trust anyone even if sometimes it appears he does but in reality he doesn't. He doesn't require others to trust him either. He sometimes wishes he could trust someone but the emotional scar he received back then doesn't let him. Getting stabbed in the back by your closest friend or the one you loved is probably one of the worst feelings ever. . .

powers
Cassius surprisingly does not have any magical abilities or gifts given by his father although one might think so. But he doesn't need them anyway and he doesn't care about those either. Who needs to be invincible when they are strong and smart enough to not get hurt in any way? Why use powers to make someone angry when you could just use words? He gained all his knowledge and abilities through years of training at the wolf house with Lupa and at camp. He specialized in fighting with a roman Spatha made out of emperial gold, however, his favorite weapon of choice is a spear his mother once gave him shortly before his arrival at camp, its head colored red like blood. He's a natural good fighter and perhaps just slightly stronger than your average demigod. Despite all that his tactical and strategic skills are lacking. . . a lot. But hey who needs a plan anyway when you're impulsive as heck.
history
claimed? yes
how many years have they been at camp? arrived at the wolf house at the age of 14, at camp jupiter for 5 years
other family members: amyntas delivorias (mother, deceased)
100 words minimum of their history leading up to camp:
Cassius was born to Amyntas Delivorias and Mars. She was a soldier stationed overseas. They met during a surprise attack on their base where she saved his life losing an arm. She was still young but had to retire as a soldier which broke her heart because it had always been her dream. After returning home to Seattle Mars visited her to give her a present to show his gratitude for saving his life and showing such bravery - it was bracelet made out of leather with a red colored dragon tooth as a charm. Charmed by his actions they spent a night together.
About 9 months later Cassius was born. His childhood could be described in one word - trouble. His parentage showed pretty early and it was clear he was the son of the god of war always causing trouble and getting into fights starting at an early age. Having to transfer from one school to another within Seattle soon became a routine for the Delivorias. Monsters weren't the problem or issue here but part of his personality was. Sure he was actually a friendly and nice child but he became enraged as soon as someone insulted him, his family or his friends. He was never ashamed of his mother, no, he was proud of her for having saved so many lives especially the one of his father. It was a story he could hear every day, every night - it was his favorite bed time story. Even though she was handicapped she trained him and thus he gained all her knowledge.
So the years went by and he turned 10. His mother met another man - his name was Stephen. Just like his mother he was a soldier with a much higher rank and still on duty. He wasn't always at home even after they married but when he was he trained and practiced with Cassius. It was him who taught him about swordmanship and archery. Stephen liked old fashioned combat and weapons. It was different but Cassius soon started to love it. Sure a sword was more difficult to handle and much heavier than the guns he held before (but never shot because his mother didn't allow him) but it was a much better feeling to deflect another blade. Same for shooting arrows with a bow although he always preferred bladed weapons and short distance combat in comparison to long distance combat and weapons.
At the age of 14 he was sent to the wolf house where he had to train and prove that he was strong and a fighter, strong enough to be considered worthy to go to camp jupiter. With his prior combat skills obtained by his uncle's harsh training the training with Lupa wasn't as hard and difficult for him although it was still a challenge. It changed his life and him - all of him. Not only did he have to say goodbye to his mother he also had to say goodbye to his old life. But after just a short period of time he was being given his recommendation letters and was sent on his way to camp. On the same day he left he received a message telling him his mother had died during her visit to Stephen who was working in a crisis country. He didn't know and still doesn't really know if it affected him much. He can't tell because what was left of his ability to love disappeared as soon as ge got the message.
