Overall description of personality (100 words minimum)
Kylie is a very laid-back type of girl. She is sweet to her friends and just as nice to strangers. She is a very touchy-feel person and will often always be touching her friends in some way. Whether its looping their arms, throwing an arm around their shoulder or even sitting on their laps. She just often fears that if she doesn't hold onto them, they'll go away. She doesn't know why she thinks this. She is also very confident. She will walk into battle with her head held high. Same thing when she's walking in general. She feels the need to show this at all times, just in case theirs a surprise attack or something. She is as loyal as a dog. She will stick by your side no matter what. Just don't lie to her or she will shun you forever.

Kylie loves sports. Any kind. She loves to snowboard, ski, surf, water ski, play baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, hockey, and her favorites are pegsai riding and training in camp. She is always wanting to stay in shape and you will often see her doing whatever she can in camp. She also loves to draw. She's been doing it since she was little and has gotten really good. She will often draw her friends or whatever she wants. She loves reading fiction books. She thinks they take her to other worlds and she loves it.

Kylie also has a bit of a temper if you etch deep enough. She doesn't like getting mad, but when she does, all Hades breaks loose. She'll either punch you in the face or use your insecurities against you. Its bad. She regrets it afterwards, but sadly whats done is done. She knows her mood is like the sea. Unpredictable. And that's the only reason she sometimes wishes she wasn't a child of Poseidon. Don't get her wrong, she loves it but sometimes she feels like everything is too much.

Powers

Overall description of their powers (100 words minimum)
Kylie has hydrokinesis and atmokinesis. She prefers hydrokinesis more due to the fact she can control it more. Its usually much more powerful when she is fueled by rage. She can control it fine, but she has plenty of training to do. She loves simply going underwater and just being able to breathe. Its the only place she feels relaxed. She is usually practicing her hydro skills every other day. She will often enhance her surfboard tricks with said powers. But by no means would she use them to cheat. Her atmokinesis needs work, but she can somewhat control it. It definitely helps in a fight when you can summon a hurricane or a typhoon. Of course all of her powers require energy and she will be fairly tired if its a large amount of power. She tries training with her atmokinesis at least once a week when everybody is awake. If she overuses her powers, or hits her limits, she will be bed ridden for a good week and a half or so.

Maria was a young sea animal rescuer. She was a beautiful young Latina lady and had a heart of gold. She lived on the beach and went to work everyday with a bright smile. She loved helping the animals. Sure, it saddened her that the animals were in pain, but knowing she was making a difference helped. From oil spills to beach landed animals, she would always be the first one on sight. She would rescue dozens of animals a day. All together, she loved the sea. She wished to see all of it, but knew it could never happen. Poseidon had been gaining interest in her for a good month. He went to shore and introduced himself as a handsome new recruit. Maria liked him instantly. He had a way with the animals she had never seen. A week after becoming friends, Poseidon took her out on a date. Maria loved it. He took her on 3 more before introducing himself as the sea god. Of course Maria had been surprised and hadn't believed him. Until their walk on the beach when he  shifted the waves. She took an amazing underwater walk that night. They eventually got around to certain things a month later. After Poseidon showed her the wonders of the sea.

9 months later, Maria gave birth to a baby girl. Poseidon had left a few months after finding out she was pregnant but promised to return one day. Maria had been heartbroken. But after she looked at the babies eyes, she knew he was with her in some way. She knew the child was a demigod, as the sea god explained what would happen with powers and such. She had decided it would be best to leave the beach and move to the city. She ended up moving in with her sister in a townhouse in New Jersey. She decided to raise Kylie like normal until she aged enough.

Of course being a demigod could never be normal. At the age of 5 she was sent home early from Kindergarten because she didn't talk to anyone but instead had a conversation with the class fish. Of course her teacher thought she was simply disrespecting rules and blah blah blah. Kylie suffered with both ADHD and Dyslexia so she wasn't as fast as the other kids. So when she was 7, she proved herself by becoming the best at sports. On their every other month visits to the beach, she taught herself to surfboard and such. She was put into competitions and won 1st place every time. Everyone assumed she would begin the Junior Olympics in any of the sports she excelled in, but instead, she focused on her schoolwork. 

Kylies' aunt Thena had always been helpful. She was with her sister from the beginning and taught her all the extra things she needed to know. Like how to flirt and how to dislocate someones shoulder. The usual. Kylie loved her aunt like a second mother. She loved her mother more though. Her mom told her about how her dad showed her another world. Kylie loved hearing how they met, never knowing her dad was the sea god.

Kylies' 8th birthday had been the worst day of her life. Her mom and aunt decided to take her down to the beach to surprise her with a new surfboard. Sadly her demigod scent must have been getting stronger as a monster showed up when she was using the board. She was preforming a new trick for her favorite people in the world when she heard screaming. She felt everything go in slow motion. She saw he aunt being sliced apart by something. She still doesn't remember what it was. She saw it go to her mother. She suddenly felt something in her gut and she let out a loud scream. All of the sudden the monster was crushed by a huge wave of water. But so was her mother. She felt the sand on her knees. She didn't remember arriving on the beach. She couldn't breath. She stared wide eyed at her hands. She killed her mom. But how did she do that with the water. She had so many questions. But the thing that kept running through her mind was that it was her birthday. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. She didn't look around. The arm left but a face came in view. Her eyes were filled with un-shed tears. She didn't know what to do. She could hear the man talking but she wasn't listening. She passed out seconds later

Kylie only remembers so much of what happened after that. She knows she awoke by a tree laying on her surfboard and a letter tucked in a small satchel that was under her head. She knows she didn't talk for weeks after she arrived at this camp. People were kind enough to simply leave her alone. She didn't eat for days at times and would often shadow the camper that helped her somewhat. The girl was much older than her, 17. Kylie wouldn't go outside without her. Kim was her name, she was a daughter of Apollo. Kylie and Kim were never seen without the other. Even though they were close, Kylie would barely talk to her. One day when Kim asked, Kylie managed to simply say "I killed my mom while trying to protect her... I just wanted to help..." Kim had been heartbroken had her small companions words. She promised she would help her.

When Kylie turned 9 she still barely talked. She would talk a bit longer with Kim, but other than a few words and nods, that was it. Sadly something happened again on her birthday. She had been walking with Kim, Kim giving her a shoulder back ride when Kim saw a Hell Hound approaching the border near the lake. It was fairly early in the morning so not many people were around. Kim told Kylie to stay back, Kylie listened. She watched as Kim fought the beast. The monster ended up slashing her neck with its claws. Kylie stood there. Before she saw red. She ran down the hill and controlled the lake and created a water dome around its head, suffocating it. She then threw all of the water back into the lake before looking at Kims' dead body. She went back to camp, and told Chiron. Apparently a few campers saw Kylie controlling the water. She was claimed later that week.

Kylie decided it was time she started talking. Just like Kim wanted her to. So she did. She decided she wanted to make other people feel better. So they would never go through what she had to. She grew a deep hatred for her birthday due to the deaths of her family and her best friend.
