Being Athletic

Rika is not necessarily a work out nut or anything, but she definitely would rather run ten miles than study something out of a book. The only reason Rika eve bothered with school was because she is because she is able to play sports and is a star athlete at her school in Japan.

Fighting

Rika likes being proficient with weapons and participating in war games. The thrill of the fight is something she wouldn't trade for anything. She especially loves to watch the reactions of the boys when she beats them.

Music

Rika loves music. Not just a single kind of music but basically any music. She is often seen toting an iPod with all of her favorite hits on it.

Animals

It's not like Rika to be ashamed of liking the cute little fuzzy animals that scamper through the forest. In fact, she thinks it helps contribute to the image of a bubbly, weak girl who can't fend for herself, which is of course the point.

Wasting Time

Almost everything Rika does has to have some sort of purpose. She isn't think kind of person who doesn't think out what she is going to do. She is always making sure there is some advantage to her actions and is the last person you will see lazing around. There is always something productive that could be done.

Weaklings and Idiots

People who are purposefully weak annoy Rika to no end. This includes, but is not limited to, lazy people, people who play the victim, girlie girls that focus solely on love and beauty, and anyone who can't beat her in a fight. Rika also can't stand people who have no common sense. How hard is it to close the gate behind you? Seriously...

Being Looked Down On

In Rika's mind, basically everyone is beneath her. Beside, obviously, her superiors in battle, she sees no merit in being the best "chef" or the best "seamstress" and doesn't appreciate when people look down on her because they feel they are the best at something. If they can't beat her in a fight, they have no business telling her that they are superior, because clearly they are not.

Politics

The stupid crap politicians and extremists argue about seems ridiculous to Rika. Not that she doesn't have her opinions, of course she does, but she doesn't understand or appreciate how so many people go out of their way to force their opinions and thoughts on others. It will always go in one ear and out the other...just punch them in the throat...they'll listen then.

Deception and Manipulation

Rika has always been good at tricking people. Not that she would use this skill in any "funny" way. She generally uses it to win fights to see the look on peoples' faces when they realize they have been hustled. In fact, she spent a good portion of her teen years hustling pool to pay for her school tuition back in Japan.

Athletics

Anything involving athletic ability comes naturally to Rika. Sports, fighting, and running are all things Rika does on a regular basis. She thoroughly enjoys going for a run after a long day. She always practices sword play on a regular basis. She prefers using a spear in actual battle, having become very good at throwing it and using it in hand-to-hand combat.

Stubborn and Willful

Rika has never been good at taking orders. She generally assumes that she knows best and that most people are far below her level of intelligence and military prowess. Despite this, she does, on very rare occasions, recognize when someone is better than her. In these cases she is almost too insistent on training so that she can one day surpass the teacher and become the best.

Doesn't Know How to Have Fun

Rika is very concerned with always being productive. Because of this, she rarely does anything to "let loose". In fact, she thinks that phrase is ridiculous and hate when people tell her to "chill."

Never Relaxes

Because Rika is so hell bent on staying productive, sometimes she gets a little wound up. Every now and then the over abundance of work without play can cause he to become terribly stressed.

Rika is a very intricate person. She is tough, fearless, and strong. She can kick most people's butts in a fight and doesn't handle idiots very well. But most of these things are inward. Basically, on the outside, she is bubbly, sweet, and girlie. This is a tactic, which says something about her personality almost immediately. She is determined to beat people so much, that she tricks them into think she is weak so they won't try as hard to beat her. This skill has been very useful through out her life. And, to be frank, she actually loves people's reactions when they find out she isn't some stupid sorority chick with a terrible personality.

  

Powers

Rika has what is known as Telumkinesis, or the ability to manipulate weaponry. She has a very high hand-eye coordination and doesn't have a hard time, at all, learning how to use a new weapon. With very little instruction she can become one of the most skilled users of a weapon with very little effort. Despite this, Rika is still seen training on a regular basis, Her logic is, no one can be the best forever and she has to work at it every day for hours at a time to really make sure she remains highly skilled with many different types of weapons.

Saito Kaori

Kaori is Rika's mother. She was a sweet Japanese teacher who spent most of her days reading and teaching children. She attracted Mars because she is so pure. He was interested in trying to corrupt her in some way. She died when Rika was twelve, leaving her daughter alone.

  

Even in her earliest memory, Rika was surround with support. Her mother was a pure, beautiful person who always thought of others. This is what Rika models her girlie, weak alter ego after. Despite the fact that there was so much love and fuzziness in her childhood, Rika was still always prone to anger and violence. She was always athletic, starting soccer when she was four and quickly climbing to the top of her middle school soccer team. She also plays basketball, tennis, and in on the swim team at her high school.

When Rika was twelve, Kaori was in a car accident. She died in the hospital a month later from injuries sustained in the accident and left Rika to fend for herself. Rika quickly found that the fastest way to make money was to bet people she could beat them at something. Generally, this meant pool, although there was the occasional arm wrestle thrown in for entertainment value.

The summer of her fourteenth year, a boy showed up stating that he had been sent to fetch her for Camp Jupiter. Having nothing better to do, she hopped on a plane with a complete stranger and flew to America. There, she found where she belongs. It didn't take long for people at the Camp to see that she was exceptional in weaponry, especially after being given full reign of the armory. She rose up through the Cohorts until she was finally placed among the top teens at the Camp.

Now that the Camp has moved in with the Greeks, Rika is trying to decide how she feels about the Greeks. At the moment, she is indifferent, although she does think that most of them are imbeciles.
